    5. Is iThermo Cell™ material toxic?
All iThermo Cell™ material posses no harm to human skin. Simply clean the exposed area with wet towels and apply skin moisturizer if necessary.

    6. What if my son drank some of the iThermo Cell™ Material? What should I do?
iThermo Cell™ material posses no threat to human body. Drink lots of water for dilution and visit your family surgeon for immediate diagnosis.

    7. Which brand or what kind of standard coolers or thermal bag should I use with iThermo Cell™ Cooling Units in order to achieve the most optimal thermal performance?
iThermo Cell™ Cooling Units are suitable to use with all standard coolers or bags or any brand. In order to achieve the most optimal thermal performance, we suggest that you should use a high quality thermal storage container with great insulation. For more information about the thermal performance of your storage container, please check with the manufacturer of your storage container.

    8. Perishables can I store with iThermo Cell™ cooling units?
Since iThermo Cell™ can deliver 14°F (-10°C) inside your storage container, the range of perishables you can store could be fresh seafood, meat, deserts, ice-cream, beverages, salads, drinks, etc. If you find your cooler maybe too cold for certain perishables, adjust the amount of iThermo Cell™ Cooling Units you use as appropriate.

    9. Do I have to use iThermo Cell™ cooling units in cooler storage box?
Yes, you do. You should use the iThermo Cell™ cooling units as “subzero, long-lasting cooling units”.

    10. How long do iThermo Cell™ cooling units last?
If iThermo Cell™ cooling units are used inside standard coolers, they should last a minimum of 6 hours and more depends on the quality of the cooler and the amount of cooling units used from within. If the cooling units are used at outdoor (direct exposing to sunlight), they should last no more than 2 hours depending on the outside temperature.

    11. If I use iThermo Cell™ cooling unit together with wet ice or ice packs for thermal storage, would I get extended cold performance?
Yes, you will get an extension of cold thermal performance when they are used together since a significant contribution of thermal power will be delivered from the iThermo Cell™ cooling units.

    12. … and would I get the same cooling temperature if I use them together?
No, you would not get the same 14°F (-10°C) thermal temperature inside the cooler because the wet ice or neither the ice packs can reach subzero temperature. The only way to achieve a good stable 14°F (-10°C) thermal temperature is to only use the iThermo Cell™ Cooling unites without mixing with any other conventional coolant (i.e. wet ice or ice packs).

    13. How many iThermo Cell™ should I use for all the common size of today’s standard coolers in order to achieve the most optional results?
Always follow the Ratio – 1:90
For example, if your cooler is 17 Quart, multiply 17 X 90 = 1,530 and that is how much in grams of iThermo Cell™ material you will require for your cooler.

    14. Can I reheat the iThermo Cell™ cooling units for hot therapy use?
No, you cannot. iThermo Cell™ cooling units is only designed for cold storage use.

    15. How should I recharge the iThermo Cell™ cooling units?
All iThermo Cell™ cooling units need to be recharge in an efficient freezer -4°F (-20°C) for a minimum of 24 hours before use.

    * Always lay flat during recharge inside the freezer.

    16. Why is it important to lay the iThermo Cell™ cooling units flat at recharge?
Laying the cooling units flat enhances the cooling material inside the container to be distributed evenly.

    17. I got 12 pieces of iThermo Cell™ 210g cooling units charging inside my freezer overnight already and they just don’t get frozen up. Is there anything I am doing wrong?
There are a few things you can quickly check:
    1) Have you recharged the units for a minimum of 24 hours?
    2) Is your freezer delivering -20°C (-4°F) in temperature? (Have to confirm this with a real thermostat.)
    3) Is your freezer fully packed? Have you left a good spacious area for cold air circulation?
    4) Have you kept the cooling units laying flat at recharge?
If you have properly checked all the above and the cooling units are still not frozen after recharge, please email our technician at mkt@ithermo.com for our service.

    18. How many times can I repeatedly use the iThermo Cell™ cooling units?
Our test has shown that you can repeatedly use the iThermo Cell™ cooling units up to 400 times.

    19. How should I store iThermo Cell™ cooling units when they are not in use?
Always store iThermo Cell™ cooling units in freezer when not in use, or store them in a dry environment at below 86°F (30°C).

    20. How should I clean the iThermo Cell™ cooling units?
Clean with soft cloth with mild dish detergent.

    21. Is there a warranty for all iThermo® products?
All iThermo® products are backed by a 5 year global warranty.
